ABOUT
Raven and Wren was born from the recognition of a
communal need for support and guidance among
all families throughout all stages.
The name is inspired by the popular children's book,
Bear Snores On (Karma Wilson), in which a group of
unlikely woodland creatures gather in the den of
a hibernating bear to weather a snow storm. Together,
they share their provisions, warmth, and good company.
Similarly, the vision of Raven and Wren serves as a safe place to gather, to become friends, to support and empower one another through the many storms of parenthood.
The practice was designed and curated by
Elizabeth Carder, MN, RN, CLC who received her
Masters of Nursing Degree from the University of Minnesota
before transitioning to Denver, CO to serve as a
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nurse, certified lactation consultant, and mom of three.
